Hi, we are Tracey and Sam, the mother and daughter team that run Gyoztes Kennels & Cattery.

We've always had dogs but the real start to this journey was when we opened our hearts to our beautiful German Shorthaired Pointer, Cookies (pictured left). In 2019 we entered the world of dog shows and have not looked back. In 2020 we expanded our pack to include our first Hungarian Vizsla, Baci. 2023 Baci had her first litter, a singleton boy, Maverick whom we kept. In 2021 we introduced the Bracco Italiano to the state and in early 2024 we purchased our second Bracco, Moose and 2025 we imported and Orange and White Bracco from Poland.

We compete in many dog sports including Agility, Scentwork, Lure Coursing, Dancing With Dogs, Tricks and Rally.

Accomplishments for our dogs include High in Trial (Lure Coursing), 3rd place Novice Jumping 2023 Agility Nationals, 3rd place Excellent Jumping 2023 Agility Nationals, 1st place Novice Vehicles (Scentwork), 3rd place Freestyle Starters (Dancing With Dogs), Baby in Show and Best in Group.

In 2017 Sam welcomed a Beagle to the family. Rumba is the most titled Beagle in Australia, with 14 titles in multiple disciplines including Scentwork, Agility, Lure Coursing, Dancing with Dogs and Tricks. Her achievements also include Best Junior Courser, 1st place Masters Jumping at the 2023 Perth Royal Show.

Sam is our resident dog trainer. She has a Cert IV in Animal Behaviour and Management. She is also an accredited Junior Handler Judge.
